Gwen Huynh, Dentist
Dr. Huynh is the founder and owner of Oasis Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for 20+ years and strives to provide patients with the most up to date technology and oral care.
She was born in Saigon, Vietnam and then moved with her family to the United States. She originally lived in Hawaii but then moved to California to complete her bachelor degree at UCLA. She then went on to attend dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
She has since been a resident in Peoria for many years and loves to give back to the community she calls homes.
Khilnna Shah, Associate Dentist
Dr. Shah was born and raised in Kenya, East Africa. She graduated from Manipal University, India in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has practiced dentistry in India, Kenya and Canada and after moving to the United States she joined a 2-year Advanced Standing Program at Midwestern University Arizona and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Shah and her husband provide dental care to the underprivileged and often go on mission trips to Africa. In her spare time, she likes to travel, hike and cook. Dr. Shah has provided dentistry to people of all backgrounds, and we welcome her to Oasis Dentistry
Brittney Vandenberg, Hygienist
Brittney has been working as an RDH for 7+ years and loves new research in the field, especially naturopathic dentistry and emerging technology! She was born in Chicago, IL and moved to AZ when she was 6 so grew up in Phoenix. She loves her dogs, gardening, reading, making jewelry, and cooking. Her biggest passion in her profession is the relationships she gets to build with patients while playing a key role in helping heal and promote the health of their gums.
Taryn Sorenson, Hygienist
Taryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Truckee Meadows Community College located in Reno, Nevada, and is a licensed and certified dental hygienist. Known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, she is committed to making each patient’s dental visit a positive and educational experience. Taryn enjoys traveling and camping with husband and two sons during her time off.
Dawn Lange, Front Office
Dawn joined the office shortly after moving from Minnesota in 2015. She handles the front office as the first point of contact for patients and has been in this field since 1996. In her free time, she likes reading and hanging out with her dogs and husband.
